In 1947, America held the trampolines competition for the first time in Texas. In 1949, it was endowed as a formal competition and spread into European. In 1964, the second worldwide trampolines tournament was held in United Kingdom. In 2000, Trampoline was listed as a formal competition item in Olympic Games. There are two items for men and women separately, and 12 player for each.
The history of trampoline sport in China is not very long. It was not regarded as a formal item until 1997 by the State Sport General Administration. And the national team was not organized until 2002. But as for the excellent skill in gymnastics, Chinese players become more and more skilled in this field, and won many medals in various competitions.
